Kelly has always been a sucker for a good adventure and her favorites are those that explore the great outdoors. As a child summer vacations included rainy backpacking trips in the Great Smokey Mountains and white water rafting on rivers such as Chattooga, Gauley, Nantahala and Ocoee. As a young adult she was known to always be ready for a natural disaster with a kayak and mountain bike a top her car.
After following a trail of adventures she ended up in the Pacific Northwest where outdoor adventures abound. Some of her favorites include gunkholing through the Canadian Gulf Islands, exploring Vancouver Island and Tolfino, hanging out at full moon on Sharkspit, Marina Island and hiking in the Cascades and Olympics.
Kelly lives on Bainbridge Island with her husband Bjorn and her twin 9 year old daughters, Linnea and Shylah. Current endeavors include weekly swims in the puget sound and training for various athletic events. She is a pediatric occupational therapist and she shares her love of play with kids.
